90% of Rocket Lawyer's business consists of creating and organizing legal documents. I was asked to re-design "My Documents" - the area of the site where documents are tracked, organized and stored.
The look and feel of the existing My Documents page was out of step with the rest of the site's branding. The user interface allowed the customer to perform many actions that resulted in frustrating error messages.
I whiteboarded and wireframed numerous layout solutions, eliminating duplicate and extraneous features. After narrowing to two solutions, and confirming that it would work in both desktop and mobile, I was able to play out the scenarios until it became clear which one would work best.
I quickly created a responsive prototype using Webflow in order to communicate my ideas to the Developers and Stakeholders.
This project was a huge step forward visually for the site. This page was so well received, it will serve as a starting point for a central hub, replacing the dashboard in upcoming releases.
